Manager of Budget and Business Planning
The City of Irvine, with a population of more than 267,000, is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic candidate to fill its Manager of Budget and Business Planning position. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of business acumen, professional presence and the ability to balance competing interests. A Bachelor’s degree in Budget/Finance, Public Administration, Business, Management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is desirable. Candidates must possess six (6) years of directly related experience in the preparation and administration of budgets and strategic business plans in a municipal government setting or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Candidates are sought who have experience in preparing and analyzing electronic databases and spreadsheets related to financial matters. The salary range for the position is $103,376.00-$161,054.40 annually and is subject to qualifications.
